When summer rolls around, it’s time to cancel that tanning salon subscription and step out into the warm sun. There are many outdoor loungers that allow users to sprawl out and catch the rays in comfort. One of the more prominent loungers is known as the “teak chaise lounge”. Just like the name says, these loungers are made entirely out of teak wood, a beautiful rot-resistant wood that does well in weather of all types. Teak wood can be maintained with special oils or left untreated to weather to a distinguished grey color. One specific model I recommend is the Teak Chaise Sun Lounger.

The Sun lounger may seem expensive at first glance but the extra price is well worth it. While all teak wood has an inherent beauty, the Sun Lounger is made from only the finest Grade A plantation teak wood which has been kiln dried. Kiln-dried woods dry evenly which results in a smoother look and feel. The Grade A teak wood is precision cut into a rigid yet comfortable frame which can be adjusted. The back portion can switch from the upright position to completely flat in seconds. Using mortise and tenon construction, this teak chaise lounge is designed to last for many years when cared for properly.

Teak wood is resistant to mold and insects because of the special oils inside. Natural oils help to protect the wood and ward off unwanted pests. Teak wood requires far less maintenance than other woods like pine and cedar for exactly this reason. The Sun Lounger has two wheels in the back that assist in moving it from place to place around the yard. It is rolled much like a wheel barrow, in which users grab the front handles and push it around. These chaise loungers are crafted by hand in Indonesia.

Heating a pool can be a large part of the expense of having a pool, but the cost can be dropped dramatically if a solar cover is used when the pool is not in use. A large part of heat loss with a pool is in the evaporation; in fact approximately 70% of the loss of heat is due to the heat evaporating! A solar cover will not only prevent evaporation from occurring, due to the cover being a vapor barrier, but it will heat the pool water from the sun at the same time.

Not only will a solar pool cover cut the cost of heating the water of the pool, but it serves several other purposes too. Having a pool cover will decrease the amount of chemicals needed as well as lower the amount of dirt and debris that gets into the pool water from the air and wind. How nice it is to simply remove the solar pool cover and not have to spend a hour straining the leaves or twigs from the water surface before diving in.

Solar pool covers come in many styles and are easy to pull on and off the pool with a single person if needed. Depending on the size needed, they can be folded off, or a crank roll can be used to simply manually roll the panel off. There are even solar pool covers that can be electronically pulled off with a push of a button.

Regardless of budget and how much money you currently have in your wallet, but there is a solar pool cover that will be perfect for any size and shape of pool you have. Often times the solar covers are trimmed to be the exact shape of the pool as well, to further minimize heat lose and evaporation.

These days it seems like everyone is trying to stay ahead of the tanning curve and keep their once milky white complexion a darker color all through the year. Tanning beds provide that much needed relief from the throws of cold winter days when all of your skins summer pigment vanishes in a matter of weeks. tanning bed accelerator has been a constant for the last decade because it helps tan the skin at a much faster rate. Be in a tanning bed or even outdoors it seems all the women are using it to get darker quicker which equals less time in the sun so it would seem.

Truth is many people use it to get a deeper darker tan but do not use any kind of SPF to go along with it and therefore skin damage becomes their number one enemy. UV light is very damaging to the skin either in a tanning bed or outside in the sun itself. If you dont believe me then look at a person who is fifty years old and been in the sun all their life with no sunscreen. Their face will be old and wrinkly looking. However I bet if you saw their backside that never sees the light of day it would be as smooth as it was thirty years ago. This is because the sun damages our skin from the day we step foot outside. Most of us do not take the necessary precautions to help ensure it does as little damage as possible.

Tan accelerator does not have to be the enemy as long as you use it intelligently. There are accelerators with spf as well as moisturizers to keep the skin from drying out. This is when the most damage occurs and tanning lotions or sprays that have the damage fighting inhibitors will help make sure you stay looking young. Be smart educate yourself on indoor tanning lotions, accelerators, and sunscreens so you can get a nice looking tan without getting skin cancer down the road.

Regular indoor tanning lotions offer a wide variety of additional functions without any major cons when it comes to a tanning bed. However you can also use the spray or rub on kind to give you some color without damaging the skin in a bed. For instance, you can get regular tanning lotions that have high UV protection that also offer anti-aging properties. Another plus to regular tan lotions, besides their lower prices, is the fact that one can shower immediately after tanning, and can even apply a healthy after-lotion directly after tanning, as well.

The final main category of tanning bed lotion is the tingling type. Tingling lotions offer users exactly what their name implies. Using these products allows for a tingling sensation to occur during the tanning process. The only drawback seems to be that this sensation can often last beyond the time of the actual tanning session.

No matter what additional functions you wish your product to have, the most important factor in determining which indoor tanning lotion is right for you is the SPF protection it offers. Other factors, such as anti-aging properties, essential skin minerals, and other such lotion functions must come second in the decision. Tanning bed lotions should allow you to be tan, not wilted. The misconception that you can lay in a tanning bed for ten or twenty minutes with no kind of moisturizer for the skin is a very big mistake. The ten minutes under a tanning beds UV light is worse than hours in the sun. The intensity of the tanning bed bulbs on the skin is much more damaging and thus why using a very good tanning bed lotion is crucial for your skins health.

Finding a good tan color to UV protection ratio can be done by simply starting with the highest SPF value in your desired tanning lotion brand and then working downward in value. Once you feel the lotion allows for a deep enough tan, while still providing optimal protection, you have found the right indoor tanning bed lotion for you.

The great thing about spray tan is that you can control how tanned you want to go with your tanning sessions and you can be sure that you aren’t exposing your skin to harmful UV rays.

Our world is one of visual gratification. We like to see people who look good around us, and we like to feel like we look good when we look in the mirror. Part of the successful picture that people desire to emulate is one of an outgoing, fun nature, but still well organized and put-together. This is often the case for people with nice, natural looking tans. In order to get that tan, however, without soon looking like a wilted flower, men and women need to be able to choose the proper tanning lotion.

In order to pick the correct outdoor or indoor tanning lotion for you, the first step is to recognize the different categories of tanning lotions. First, there is the regular sun tanning lotion that is generally sold at a lower cost. Then there are lotions that are formulated to create a tingling sensation while being used, making the person feel the tanning process taking place. Lastly, then, there are bronzing lotions or tanning accelerator.

The function you wish your lotion to perform is the the key factor to choosing the right product. For example, using a bronzing tanner would be most appropriate for people who desire the lotion to help deepen their tan color. Indoor tanning lotions are not intended as much to protect your skin as they are to allow for optimal burning of the skin cells. Some of the bronzing lotions allow more UV radiation through to accomplish this, and others use pigment that gets seared into your skin.

While bronzing lotions are becoming increasingly popular as a merge between fake tanning and natural tanning, there are some cons to their use. For instance, as with bronzing lotions designed to be used without need for sun or tanning beds, there is often a lasting odor that remains on the skin until the person showers. However, while the product must be applied evenly directly before the tanning takes place, the person is usually not allowed to wash it off for up to four hours after tanning, which is often inconvenient.

Many women wonder if they should leave their makeup on or take it off before they go into a tanning bed. People ask this question all the time while visiting tanning salons, but many people who have a home tanning bed don’t have a way of knowing the answer.

Overall, the answer is that there are reasons why you may want to wear it, and there are also reasons why you might not want to wear it. You should decide what you want to do and why. Overall, there are some things you should definitely know ahead of time:

First, wearing some kinds of makeup can help provide some protection from the tanning bulb rays. When it comes to skin care tips and your face, this can be a good thing, since it can prevent premature aging. But, some of you may actually want the facial tan. So, wearing makeup can lessen the level of your facial tan.

Another consideration is that if you wear makeup and you have tons caked on, you could end up with tan lines depending on how much makeup you have on at the time. Anyone who knows the most basic makeup tips knows that there are very few occasions when you should even wear this much makeup in the first place, but that’s another issue. The point is that too much makeup can just leave you ending up with weird lines on your face. So this problem is definitely one to stay away from.

Overall, what we recommend is that you DO protect your face since it is so much more delicate than the rest of your body. One thing that many people choose to do is to cover their face with a towel while tanning indoors. You can also use an actual sunscreen on your face, or you can rely just on your makeup (even though that alone won’t provide a great deal of sun protection). After covering your face while in the tanning bed, we recommend using a sunless tanner on your face to ensure that it matches your nicely tanned body.

Obviously, it can be a pain to apply sunless tanner to your whole body, so it’s understandable that many women choose to still tan their bodies in a bed. But applying sunless tanner to your face can be done easily before bedtime. Since it doesn’t take too much of an effort, and can make such a difference years down the road, it is definitely the way to go. And you can prevent aging on your face down the road and still have a gorgeous glow in the meantime. It’s the best of both worlds.

There are many ways to get a tanned look. It is important for some people to have tanned skin. If this is something that is important to you, there are a lot of different options out there for you to try out and see what you like best.

1. Outdoor tanning. This is pretty old school isn’t it? Lying out in the sun with a good book is one of my favorite things to do. However, you have to lie out for a long time to get any results. You are dependent on the weather and the solar schedule. For some people, this is just not an option that is available.
2. Self-tanner. These products can be very cheap or very expensive. It is a great, fast way to get a tanned look. You can tan just your legs if they have not gotten enough sun lately. However, it is a special technique to do this without getting streaks and orange hands and joints.

3. Spray Tan. This refers to tanning in a machine like Mystique Tan or Versa Spa. It is a sunless option. If you are high-risk for skin cancer, this is a great tanning choice. I prefer the Versa Spa over Mystique Tan.

4. Air-brush tan. This requires a professional to spray you by hand. This can have great results, however it can be awkward. Typically, this is a good option if you have had bad experiences in a spray-tanning booth.

5. Tanning beds. This is a good way to get tanned if lying out is not convenient for you. You could even get a home tanning bed for added convenience.

There are pros and cons to every option. Everyone reacts differently in these situations. Spray tans look orange and streaky on some people and great on others. Some people’s skin does not respond to UV rays very well and spray tanning is their only option for colored skin.

If you do choose to lie out, tan a salon, or get a home tanning bed it is important to take care of your skin. Use decent tanning lotion to maximize the results. You can find a decentcheap indoor tanning lotion Do not let yourself burn. This is a risk especially in home tanning beds without timers. Moisturize to help your skin from aging.

Many times, it is a combination of these things that give people the proper tan they desire. For me, I like to tan in a tanning bed so that I am already dark when it is time to go to the beach and lay out. Additionally, I will use a Versa Spa before a big event to make sure that I am as tan as I need to be.

It is interesting to see how popular indoor tanning has become over the years. It is a trend that is mostly unique to America and some other European and western countries.

As a matter of fact, in some Asian countries the opposite is the norm. As you age, you are exposed to the sun more and your skin become darker. Therefore, fair skin is a sign of youthfulness. Some people go to great lengths to lighten their skin.

However, in the United States it seems as though using home tanning beds is a very popular thing to do. There are known risks with indoor tanning. So why do people still use tanning beds?

Many people find a lot of benefits in fake tanning. Looking dark and tan is a goal of many people – and not just in the summer time. It is considered to be an attractive look by many. So why is it that tanning is so attractive to some people?

I have a couple theories on why the tanned look is attractive to many people. First of all, many claims that is makes them appear thinner. I am not aware of any actual scientific data supporting that claim however. Tanning does seem to even out your skin tone which could contribute to this.

Additionally, many people who suffer from acne or breakouts see benefits in home tanning beds. Some suffer from acne caused by oily skin. Since indoor tanning beds provide a lot of heat that dries the skin, many notice significant improvements in their complexion after tanning.

I also believe that tanning causes a subconscious effect on some people. Physical attraction is a biological response to people. The innate purpose of physical attraction is to mate and reproduce. People are naturally attracted to people that appear to be healthy because they have a better chance to reproduce. Tanning makes you look like you are active and outdoors, which is a sign of good health. Obviously there are other reasons why people are attracted to others besides just physical looks though.

Since home tanning beds are so convenient and because there are many benefits to having a tan, it is not surprising how popular they are becoming. It is important to learn about the risks as well and compare them with the benefits. For many people, the benefits of home tanning beds outweigh the risks.

Some people only tan before an event or a vacation, so maybe only a few times a year or so. Others tan regularly for years. If you spend the money to tan a local salon, it may be worth it to purchase a home tanning bed for yourself. Home tanning beds are also called residential tanning beds.

There are some things to look for when shopping for a tanning bed to keep at home. First of all, you need to know the amount of energy it takes to run the bed. Some beds have a voltage that is so high they need a special boost from a transformer. Typically, 120V can be installed and plugged in your residence with no extra power needed.

You also want to be aware of how many bulbs are in the tanning bed. For every bulb in the bed you will have to replace them when they run low! Additionally, some beds have facial tanners, leg tanners, and special bronzing mechanisms while others do not.

Probably the most important thing to research when shopping for a home tanning bed is the type of bulb that it holds. Bulbs, or lamps, are the most important aspect of tanning. Lamps vary in the amount of UVA and UVB lights that they emit, which significantly impacts the tan. Lamps vary in the glass material they are encased in, which can also affect how a person tans.

A couple other small things to keep in mind are the dimensions of the tanning bed. Make sure you can get it into the room that you want it in and that there is enough space for it. There are lay-down beds and stand up capsules that can accommodate these types of concerns. Another decision to be made is regarding timers. Some beds come with timers that shut the bed off and some do not. Some beds are equipped to operate in a tanning salon where the time can be controlled outside of the room. This can be very important to your tanning experience.

At the salon where I tan, there are many pricing plans available. The largest package available costs almost $1,000 a year. In some places that are more expensive to live in (such as California) the cost of tanning can be exponentially higher. So it is up to you to determine if the cost of a home tanning bed is worth it for you. Convenience is also a factor to be included when considering value!
